Question

Miscarriage at 11 weeks

I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks and I really want to try again as soon as possible. My bleeding stopped 3 days ago. Am I able to have unprotected sex now? I don't have any pains, or cramps and bleeding has fully stopped, no spotting at all.
I know my Dr said after 1 cycle to try again, but he never said anything about why I had to wait physically that long.

Hi, firstly I'd like to say, I'm very very sorry for your loss. I can imagine how upsetting it must be and my heart goes out to you. Now regarding trying, basically if you have a miscarriage Doctors advise you to wait one cycle to give your body a chance to heal and get back to normal before you put it through the process of trying again. Even though you must feel like you want to try again it might be best to just wait a cycle and then get back to trying. I am sure you will fall pregnant soon and carry a baby to term. Good luck! My prayers and thoughts are with you!
