Newly Preg- What date will I go by?
So, I found out I was pregnant DPO 13.
Because I am an avid charter, I know my conception time was around August 20th.
However, my cycles are long which lands the beginning of my last menstrual period on July 18th...
So will the Dr. go by my last period date ( aprox. 7 weeks along) or my date of conception? ( aprox. 2 weeks along) Waiting for an appointment!

My dr went with my lmp even though I know I ov'd late. My lmp gives me a due date 5 days sooner than my baby measured, but she said if two dates are within 5 days of one another, they default to lmp because a due date isn't ever exact, anyway. Had there been a greater discrepancy in dates, they would've used the baby's measurement.

if you are 13 dpo and know when you ovulated you can calculate the due date as if your baby was born on a cycle of standard 28 days, so minus 14 days from your o. the due date should be maximum 5 days more or less from the day that results from this method of calculation. even women with 28 days cycle don't know exactly the due date. only 5% of women actually have their baby on due date. You could have your baby even after more than 5 days after your due date on a normal cycle.
