Definitely not out yet! Most eggs implant between 6-12dpo and 9dpo is the most common day. Then it can take 3-4 days for you to have enough hcg in your system for a HPT to detect it. Good luck!

You can totally be pregnant. In general it takes 6-12 days for the egg to implant, until then you don't have any detectable hcg. I'm 13 dpo today and only got a faint positive yesterday at 12 dpo. It got darker this morning.
So definitely don't get discouraged! I know it's hard, but wait until at least 10 dpi, everybody is different.

the fertilized egg does not implant into the uterus until 8-10 DPO . after the baby implants then your HCG hormones will start rising. i doubt anyone would have a positive pregnancy test at 6dpo unless your hcg levels raised quickly . well everyone is different but of course you can still be pregnant. best time to test is 14dpo but earliest i'd say 12dpo
