CM confusion??

Morning all,
I'm currently 9dpo and i've been tracking my fertility with OPK's and by checking cm. Over the last 3 days i've had very watery cm but a few chunks of cm that almost looked like candle wax. I'm so confused because I cannot find anyone online referencing this look, rather everything seems very liquid in appearance when searching so I have to ask, has anyone heard of this or experienced it? in addition my cervix is high enough that I cannot feel it to judge open/closed or soft/medium/hard.
