Question

Miscarriage @ 11 weeks, when to start trying again?

I had a miscarriage 3 days ago, I was 11 weeks. Had to go to the hospital because of to much blood loss. I'm currently slightly bleeding still. When is it okay to start trying again? Is it possible to start when my bleeding stops? Does this increase the chances of miscarring again? I've read after a miscarriage your chances of becoming pregnant right after are high...
Any advise would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.

My doctor told me to wait at least 3 normal cycles after dnc. I didn't I went ahead and tried as soon as I had my first normal cycle now almost 6 months later still no luck in getting pregnant I don't know if it's related to me not waiting. I don't really know. Good luck to you in your ttc journey.

Hi, sorry for your loss :( I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks last October (baby only measured 7 weeks) and I had to have a d&c. I was advised to wait at least 1 cycle.... Here I am 12 cycles later and still nothing, but it did take me 12 months to fall pregnant in the first place. Every woman is different in how their body copes with the trauma.

Fingers crossed and baby dust to you xx

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks and after the bleeding stopped my husband and I started having unprotected intercourse. I did not get pregnant the first cycle and will test for this cycle next week. When your body is ready you will get pregnant again. A big reason doctors say to wait is to heal emotionally. If you and your partner feel emotionally ready I say go for it.
