Starting treatment
Hi ladies.. I need advice!! I have appointment with fertility doctor tomorrow to discuss treatment plan. The last time we spoke he mentioned ovulation stimulation and follicle tracking but because of a rare vascular condition he had to send away for reports from 3 different specialists so hoping he will have them tomorrow.
Anyway my question is for the ladies who have been on this journey is there any questions you asked or wished youd asked of your doctor. Or did your doctors explain everything in depth?? Side effects of meds ect.
Id be greatfull for any help yous could give me xxx

Ask about timing of ultrasounds and blood tests needed, ask about triggering ovulation. Find out what the Drs thoughts are on numbers of follicles/eggs and risks for multiples as well as hyper stimulation. Find out about all your test results and make sure you know what your insurance might pay or if you are a self pay patient. Ask about your fertility drugs, side effects, pharmacies recommended to buy/order them from, get price estimates for your drugs, FSH injections are very expensive. Ask what the initial starting dose of the medications or injectables would be. See what he thinks your estimated chances are for conception going through this stim cycle. Ask about your husband's semen analysis results whether IUI is recommended or beneficial in your case. Best wishes and good luck.

U will probably have about a hundred ask none when there and then come out with 200 or atleasti did feel free to jot them on paper whatever comes to mind I brought mine out the second time we went for ivf she completely understood she answered them all too n I felt a lot better xx
