Question

I is it possible to still ovulate is I had a temp shift but got no positive opk?

I have been following my cycle for a few months with bbt charting and opks. But I seem to get a shift in the temp. But I don't get a positive opk around the time I should. I have the ic's so I am able to test 3 times a day, so I don't think I'm missing my surge. What do you think is going on? If I knew how to post pics I would show you my bbt chart and opks ,but I don't lol

Have u ever had a positive opk? U don't need a positive to successfully ovulate, also, ur tests may not be sensitive for ur surge to urine level. There are a lot of things that can affect opk results, as long as ur bbt shows a sustained temp rise, I wouldn't stress it too much.
Good luck! =))

im having the same issue, this is my first month doing OPKs.. ive been testing since CD18 (I was scheduled to ovulate CD20) and am now on CD28 and never once got a positive, but ive had cramping from like CD20-CD24.. been testing 3x a day with IC, hoping im just one of those rare occations where my body only needs a little of the LH hormone to ovulate, and that it just didn't show up on a test
