When would you test? DH is freaking out.
We aren't TTC (we have two) but we had unprotected sex 3 times. once the condom broke. Twice he pulled out. All three times were during a fertile time. (I think) it was the first time I had ovulated since having baby #2. my cycles are generally 31-35 days. BUt have been as long as 36 days and as short as 29. Right now I'm at cycle day 32. on CD 30 I tested BFN.
So. I'm freaking out because... the first two times I got my period since baby 2 (the last 2 cycles) I had no ovulation signs or symptoms. zero. This time, I have had crazy ovulation symptoms. cramping, CM changes, etc. I think I ovulated the end of the 2nd week of august, or maybe the 3rd week. I had positive OPKs Sunday and MOnday (8/16 and 8/17) but I usually get 3 or 4 days of positives and never know when I actually ovulated. I didn't test prior to 8/16 bc thats the day after we had sex and we werent ttc so no need. Would you test again CD 33 (tmrw?) or wait until very late to be sure? DH is very stressed and anxious...

Oh! and DH booked his vasectomy appointment already. ha. So yeah, this month was very careless (no judgements please). I would be OK with a third, but DH would take a little while to come around. Just trying to get an accurate result so we can stop stressing about it all. anyone been here before???

I would just wait a few days. With you only having a few cycles since baby #2 arrived, your body could still be getting back to normal. You could have ovulated late or you could have geared up to ovulate but never actually did. That's part of the reason OPKs aren't all that accurate. If you hit CD 40, then I would test.
