Hello! Yes it’s possible. OPK tests test for LH, and pregnancy tests test for hCG. Structurally, LH and hCG are very similar and the test can pick up on the hCG and mistake it for LH. The hormones hCG and LH are very similar in makeup. OPK tests are able to detect both of those hormones.

I’m also 10 Dpo today...waiting to test Saturday Morning. :)

Thanks for the reply :) do you know why Id get a positive on an opk and not an a hpt though?

I've heard of opk's being used this way, all I've seen have had to be blazing positive (both dark lines). A faint line can happen throughout a cycle, I never have the line disappear but merely darken when about to "o". Good luck.

Ya the second an third ones today weren't darker than the control but were the exact same colour as it which is a positive, Im really hoping im pregnant, Ive another frer and il wait until 14 dpo to test again, my cycles aren't v regular usually between 27-32 days so don't know when I'm due af, but I've never gone past a 32 day cycle

It's very normal for an OPK to be positive in the middle and/or again at the end of ur luteal phase. They do go positive when pregnant, but the hpt (esp frer) will be positive first.
