Do you have regular menstrual cycles? If you aren't regular and if you don't keep track of your cycles then there's a chance that you aren't really late yet for your period. Unfortunately many of the symptoms of pregnancy can also be symptoms of a period about to start, so it's tough to say if what you're experiencing is pregnancy related or period related. Take another pregnancy test tomorrow with first morning urine and use a good quality pregnancy test like First Response. Check that the test isn't expired and be sure to follow the directions by reading the results in the allotted time frame. If in another week you haven't gotten a bfp or your period I would go back to your doctor and get another blood test. Sometimes our bodies play tricks on us and for whatever reason our menstrual cycles can get thrown off. A late period isn't always because of pregnancy; illness, stress, major life changes, simply even miscalculation of dates etc can all affect our cycles.
