Why am I getting a faint second line on my test?
I am six days late and I got two first respond test and I took one at 3 am this morning and I thought it was negative when I first looked at it but when I looked again there were two lines but the first one was really light so I waited and tested again this morning around 9:45 and I still got two lines but the first line was still light... am I still pregnant or am I losing the baby?

Could be there is not enough HCG in your system yet. Usually that happens a lot when it is a boy... something about testosterone and HCG levels. However, it could mean a chemical pregnancy as well. Doc was concerned in the beginning of this pregnancy that my HCG levels were low however, the levels doubled under 48 hours and rose beautifully and I here I am almost 16 weeks. I would wait 2 days and due another HPT with FMU. you should have a better idea then if your levels are increasing.
