Feeling emotional
a little back story:
DH and I are both 31 and TTC #1 since January 2014 when I came off BCP. I'm overweight and trying to get healthy. He's an E-cig smoker and trying to quit. All of a sudden my mom said something to me kinda referencing my wt and I took it all outta proportion and bawled. Last time I was that emotional was my teenage yrs before BCP. I was never that emotional during BCP. Before BCP I would cry at almost anything good, bad, mad, anything inbetween. I feel like I've reverted back to my teenage yrs. I don't want to do that because it'll drive us both nut crazy. Had this ever happened to someone? Has anyone ever felt they reverted back to their younger selves? Positive insight is desperately needed please. Any ideas? What am I gonna do?

Well insight is a wonderful thing! Atleast you know that you are being a bit too sensitive and that is great. The first step is to realise and then you can make changes. Controlling your emotions is possible, try to rationalise and think about things objectively. Remember when a person who loves you points out things that you could improve they do not do it out of spite but bcoz they care. I'm sure your mother loves you very much and might have just been concerned. Also you could do something about your weight bcoz you deserve to be the best that you can be for yourself. Think of how lovely it would be for you to wear what ever you want and look your best! Remember if you love and respect yourself others will too. And also you will be so much more confident! You seem like a nice young lady, who really wants to improve her behaviour, I wish you the best of luck!
