Is it possible to have Implantation Bleeding at 12DPO?

I was 12 DPO yesterday. Before bed I wiped and noticed some blood on my toilet paper (dark pink in color). I figured it was my period starting so I put a tampon in and went to bed. When I woke up I took the tampon out and there was barely anything on it. So I put a panty liner in my underwear to wait for the flow to really start. It is now 1:00 in the afternoon and I still have no flow. Is it even possible that it might have been implantation bleeding at 12 DPO? I'm pretty sure that is too late for implantation bleeding so I am bracing myself for a full on flow to start, but I thought I'd see if anyone had experienced late implantation bleeding. TIA!
