Question

When to start trying after miscarriage??

I miscarried at 5 weeks just a few days ago. I want to start trying again as soon as possible....my doctor told me to try and wait one cycle but I've now read on the net that you can ovulate when your HCG Levels go below 25 and go on to have a healthy pregnancy. Anyone experience this or have any advice for me? The wait just sucks. Thanks!

Hi, I miscarried at 11 weeks in October last year , but baby only measured 7 weeks. Doctors advise 1 cycle to make it easier to date a new pregnancy. As long as you get a negative pregnancy test and you are physically ready then go for it :) I had a d&c, and started trying again after one cycle, but as of yet still nothing, but it did take us a year to fall first time round. Good luck xx

I am sorry that this happened to you. Hugs your way. Unless your dr has specific reasons why you should wait one cycle it is fine to start trying again right away. I have read multiple times over how many women conceive immediately the cycle after a loss. Wishing you all the best and a healthy pregnancy soon.
