Clomid and Cystic Acne -- Any Good Treatments??
My first therapy with Clomid resulted in horrifying cystic acne that made me want to hide behind a brown paper bag. I was reluctant to start again on Clomid for this reason. However, I am on day 5 of Clomid and already the pimples have begun. Does anyone have any treatments that they've used to halt or slow down the acne? Any drug therapies recommended by dermatologists that do not counteract with Clomid? My current acne routine is good and I have no outbreaks, but throw Clomid in and hormonally all hell breaks loose on my face.

I have similar problems (adult acne) which gets worse while doing fertility meds of any kind. My dermatologist prescribed Finacea which is safe while TTC and during pregnancy and it has been working quite well. I also use witch hazel after cleansing and before using Finacea. Give this combination a try. Best wishes.
