I had a chemical last May and we stopped ttc to conceive until this year May 2015. I have gained 25 pds since May using progesterone and like you it kills me b/c I cant seem to stop it or back it down no matter what I do.

Thank you @mamaorbust it's comforting to know that I'm not the only one. I know my body has never reacted well to any form of birth control either (when I was younger) and they tried me on so many different kinds because I was gaining so much weight. I had a bad weigh reaction after the depo shot and I gained 60 pounds in a VERY short amount of time. And the doctors said that I couldn't be on it because the ingredient in it that leads to weight gain kicked my butt. It took me years to lose it. So I've always been so scared about gaining a ton of weight. Now These Suppositories are doing it again. It's so frustrating!

I too have had a similar case. While trying to conceive my first child I gained about 25 pounds in about 3 months from all the medications the doctor put me. When I asked about trying to control it they said there was no way that unfortunately it was the medication. I finally after about 6 months of trying was able to get pregnant and once i stopped all that medication in the first 5 months of my pregnancy I only gained about 5 opens. Needless to say my son will be 3 soon and I finally just lost the baby weight but now there's still the 30 I gained trying to get pregnant. In the end it was worth it even though it was a struggle dealing with the gain. I hope it all works out for you! Baby Dust!!!

Hey ,I am also suffering from excessive weight gain .I had 1 miscarriage before and now I am pregnant again 8 weeks . I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.I’ve lost 18 pounds in 9 days, I’m just concerned that I’m losing too much weight, too quickly.
