5 Days Passed Missed Period, Still getting Negative Preg Tests - Could I still be Pregnant?

I am now 5 days passed my expected period and have some possible pregnancy symptoms. I have had slight cramping, gas, frequent urination, and some sensitivity to smells. Wondering if it can just take a while to get a positive pregnancy test? How long as it taken to get a bFP for you ladies?

on day 1 of missed period i got a bfp. i am now 3 days passed expected period and had a faint line on 11/12 dop.

I got a positive before my period was even due. u should get an accurate reading if you're 5 days late.
