Purchases an OPK and started using it without realizing the box says expired.
I purchased a store brand opk and noticed today after I've been using them for the pass week that the box says there expired. For the pass few days my tests have been negative. Which I would say they should be. So knowing that I used a dollar store ov test today and it said positive. I'm suppose to ovulate on the 3rd of August if I go by a 28 day cycle. Can I still use the expired opk's and go by those results which are negative or do I go by the dollar store brand that states it positive. Can you use expired opk kits? I have watery discharge, pressure. thats about it. I'm afraid I will miss my ovulation time again this month. I've been trying to conceive for 5 months now.. I'm already discouraged as it is. Can someone help!

I purposely buy expired clearblue fertility monitor sticks becuz theyre like 1/4 of the price. I have yet to miss a surge or have false surge results. Its really up to u if u wanna use/trust them. I have had no issue with expired tests, mine are from 2012 lol...but that doesnt mean it'll work for u. Each brand will be different. so will each test.
