Defective?

I was taking my bc pack like normal and then one day the pill smashed in the pack and so I tried next day, same issue, the day after that the pill was fine so I took that one.
Then a few days later happened again.
Was the whole pack defective?

What are the storage instructions? Was is left somewhere that's too hot/too cold? What's the expiry date?

Just got it last month 6/4 or around there.
Stored on my kitchen counter.

Maybe call the manufacturer and give them the lot number. Perhaps it's a faulty batch. They shouldn't be crumbling like that and it's not fair to you to have to pay for a replacement because the pills keep breaking.
