Could this be implantation or is my body crazy?

I typically have a 29-31 day cycle. This month, starting at cycle day 22 I was spotting. It started out brown and then changed to pink. It is pretty light and seems to be mixed with CM. I'm not sure how I'd describe the mucus other than sticky/creamy. This has been going on now for 5 days. Most of the time there is no spotting but every once in a while I will notice some brown spotting. there is no way that this is my period for the month.. It's way early and the bleeding is not nearly heavy enough. I'm not sure what is going on with me.. Any ideas??
