Implantation is almost guaranteed not to happen before 5DPO at the very earliest. It takes time for the fertilized egg to grow and travel to the uterus for implantation. Perhaps you ovulated earlier then you thought?

I never had implantation bleeding when i was pregnant with my three kids, nor did i spot when Af was due. My first child, I just one day thought, " i think I'm late" (maybe less than a week, no symptoms) BFP! my second child again, didnt track my cycles but ate Yuca every day for breakfast and then one day i ate it and thought it was the grossest thing on the planet, BFP! 3rd child i went to the store and cried over something so stupid and thought "why?", then realized i could have been late. BFP. I would say all within a week after Af was due. only symptom out of all 3 was food aversion with the yuca. And the nwith him i could only eat something once and i got grossed out and ended up living off of Einstein bagels. Our bodies are whonky.
