Trigger shot and spotting

So I am all kinds of confused. Looking for any thoughts, tips, advice, experiences someone can give. First cycle doing letrozole and trigger shot. Did my trigger shot on July 1st, I figure I ovulated about July 3rd. As of today July 13 I am spotting as of this morning. My progesterone was checked on day 20 so July 8th and they said my levels were fine. Really I'm only like 9 or 10 dpo. If my progesterone is ok why is this happening? I was made to believe from a prior doctor that people really shouldn't be spotting. Has anyone had this happen to them after taking this med or the trigger shot? Spotting? Son confused what to think especially when they told me progesterone and every thing looked really good throughout this whole process. Nurse didn't seem to be worried about it when I told her this morning but I just feel like that's not right?!

Hi! I did my first medicated cycle too, and also ovulated on July 3rd! I haven't heard of spotting this late after taking fertility drugs, but I've never taken letrozole. I don't want to get your hopes up, but spotting this late COULD be from implantation. It's not very common, apparently, but does happen. Have you tested yet? I've been testing out my trigger (5000 hcg) and as of today I still have a very faint line. I would take a pregnancy test in a day or two if the spotting doesn't turn to a period. Best of luck!

Me- 29, PCOS, small septum (removed), stage 3 endometriosis, homozygous MTHFR c677t, ANA + DH- 30, Low-ish count, poor morphology, varicocele TTC #1 since December 2014 January 2015- Natural BFP March 2015- m/c at 9 weeks June 2015- follistim + ganirelix + pregnyl = cancelled, overstimmed July 2015- follistim + ganirelix + pregnyl + iui = BFN August 2015- follistim + ganirelix + pregnyl + iui = BFP September 2015- No heartbeat, d&c October 2015- laparoscopy/hysteroscopy- dx = stage 3 endometriosis, small uterine septum, tubes clear November 2015- follistim + ganirelix + pregnyl = BFP January 2016- Heartbeat gone @ 7 weeks

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did take a pregnancy test today and it was negative. I also was temping which my doc said not to do because the meds and trigger messes with the temps...which I found to be very true. But with that in mind I did get a drop today. So far I haven't noticed anymore spotting yet today...but I'm not getting my hopes up. Been let down too many times!! How is your cycle going?

Ooh I know the feeling! So very stressful. How'd it turn out??

No luck with my cycle, and I overstimulated and ended up with OHSS/ovarian torsion. NOT fun at all. But I just finished another cycle today, so we'll see. :)

Ended up getting my period. Then started another round and ended up getting a polyp growing in my uterus. Thinking it's the meds. So now in two weeks I have to go for an ultrasound and prolly have my uterus scraped out! Not happy. How is it all going for you?
