What does Implantation Bleeding look like and does it come with lots of symptoms?
I had a back ache (bad), had cramps like i was going to start AF, tender breasts, and alot more symptoms. This is gross! Sorry, When I wiped I notice a spot of real blood like I cut myself on the tissue but when I looked down at my panties it had a brownish color of blood. I also had lots of discharge- watery. I took a test 5 dpo and it was a very faint positive, took a test yesterday and today and both negative! Was this just a fluke. or is it implantation taking place and now I just got to wait a few more days to get a solid positive?

Implantation bleeding is very scant, meaning it's hardly more than a couple drops worth of pinkish/yellowish mucous, with maybe a few pink/red streaks in it. The bleeding is usually associated with some painless cramping or pulling sensation in the lower abdomen and usually occurs about a week after ovulation. Generally implantation bleeding is a one time event, meaning you might see if for a few hours and then it's gone. If you're seeing bloody mucous or discharge for a couple days then it's probably not due to implantation. Also, the closer you are to ovulation, the more likely it is that any blood you see is due to implantation, whereas the closer you get to your expected period, the more likely the blood you're seeing is due to the start of your period. The difference in when the bleeding happens, what it looks like, and how long it lasts is quite different from that of your period. I doubt the test you took at 5dpo was positive though.

The blood only happened once... It was DPO day 6. That is when I saw the blood and it wasn't alot. It was only one time. It was a drop and then I saw brownish blood in my panties. I felt alot of pressure like i was going to start my AF but never did. Everything seems to be fine now.. No AF no pressure nothing. I still have a back ache but thats it. Do you still think its just my period?

I dunno if this helps any, but I got a bfp on Sunday (16dpo). I had implantation bleeding seven days before my bfp. It's very light, and brown in color.
I was honestly shocked to discover I'm pregnant. Everything I felt leading up to my bfp just felt like my period was about to start any minute. Don't give up until Aunt Flo arrives because it is possible to just need a few extra days for the test to turn positive
