Late period and now light pink spotting

Gosh anticipation is a handful.
As I went to the bathroom this morning I had a release of CM with a little really light pink blood mixed in. Although I could see it in the toilet is was so minuscule that when I wiped there was nothing remaining.
I have an appt today for some blood work.
Implantation bleeding?
Late implantation bleeding?
Random cervical irritation?
Who knows because I sure don't!
Everyday there's something else I swear lol.

My guess would be that because you're late for you period that any bleeding from this point onwards most likely would be the start of your period.
