Question

B6 vs B complex and unsupervised progesterone cream!

Hey ladies! So this is our third month trying. I charted from the beginning and noticed a short LP. So I began taking 100mg B6 half way through last cycle. That cycle I had a chemical pregnancy...but my period held out until 12 dpo which is quite a bit longer than what was a 9 day LP. I did more research (internet) and have found a school of thought that said B-50 complex works much better...anyone use B vits to fix this problem? What did you use?

also...I bought some progesterone cream not knowing IF I'll actually take it...because I don't actually know if I am low on progesterone. I'm assuming based on a few symptoms and a short LP. I just moved and don't have doc yet otherwise I'd go ask for advice from a professional...

HELP! Has anyone used progesterone cream for a short lp/ low functioning corpus leutum? I just can't go through another CP if I can help it...

Thank you!

I am using both a B6 supplement AND a B6 complex. The reason being vitamins don't work in isolation but best in combination, I take these supplements in addition to my regular prenatal vitamin. (Always make sure you don't exceed the recommended total amount for b6). Progesterone cream can help with a short lp. I have never used it . I am on progesterone vaginal inserts for lp support. Also, chemical pregnancies mostly happen because of chromosomal abnormalities, less often because of hormonal imbalances, def talk to your dr about supplementing with progesterone. Best wishes.

The first cycle that I used natural progesterone cream I got pregnant. Sadly I was spotting and thought my period was coming so I stopped the cream, turned out I was pregnant and then I miscarried and I blame myself due to stopping the cream.
It's been 10 months and still not pregnant again, but I do believe the cream helped! I also wasn't told by a doctor to take progesterone. Hope the best for you!!

Even if your progesterone levels are normal, there's no such thing as too much progesterone. It won't hurt but if it could help you might as well. I was on a triple the normal dose of progesterone supplements until I was 14 weeks along with my recent pregnancy. Never used the cream but I was on 2 suppositories and an injection in my tush of progesterone every day.
