Question

Anyone need a friend?

Hi ladies! We have been ttc for 4 months. I just joined this site today as I am finding this journey to be a little lonely, I have a huge family and boatload of friends, but no one I feel comfortable with to talk to. I just wanted to send out positive energy and hopefully get some support as well! Positive thoughts to everyone reading this. :-) ps how do I add friends on here? Lol

I am in the same boat! I really don't have anyone I can talk to about this as my family is set against us having another baby for one reason or another. It can be lonely at times. Have a great day!

Welcome! There are plenty of awesome and supportive women on here who u can talk to. Try journaling ur thoughts/feelings, many of us are avid readers/writers so u'll make quite a few friends in that section as well.
Good luck! =))

I feel you! I normally share EVERYTHING with my sisters we are really more like best friends....and my two BFFs from childhood...I'm also really close with my mom, aunt and mother-in-law....I know I can talk to them about anything....but I don't feel like I can with this....we've been trying for about a month now....married for 9 months together 8 years total....I just don't want to open up about trying when I don't know how long it will take or if we will have problems....I don't want the pressure of people knowing we are trying esp. since weve been together soo long that everyone is ready for us to have a baby like yesterday....for now we give vague answers about thinking about it....but I'm glad to have found this community I feel less alone already! I wish I was as relaxed about this as my husband is! :)

I guess its common to feel isolated during the TTC journey! I talk to my mom about everything...but I had a chemical pregnancy last month that freaked me OUT and I haven't told anyone but dh :( keep you chin up! We are all here silently going through the same thing! I'm not crazy about saying the whole "baby dust" thing...so good luck! Keep the community informed and I hope you get your BFP soon!

I often felt lonely as well. In order to help others with this, I published a free book on Kindle and Nook called TTC: An Emotional Journey. I want to help other women get through this difficult emotional time.

Nook download: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/ttc-valerie-johnston/1122016449?ean=2940151933377

Kindle download: http://www.amazon.com/TTC-Emotional-Journey-Valerie-Johnston-ebook/dp/B00XYXWL52/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1436806610&sr=8-1&keywords=ttc+valerie+johnston

I hope you can read it and it will be of some help to you. It's absolutely free forever because I know we all already spend tons of money on tests.

Good luck in your journey =)
