How late after ovulation did you first get a positive?

I am two days late but a negative result. I have a short cycle of 24 days and a lateral phase of 10 days. I had slight brown spotting on a liner 2 days ago. Normally get really bad acne when due on and no spots..
My question is, is it possible I am pregnant and the egg has only just implanted. we are trying for our third child. The other two Has strong result 10 dpo so want to know if it is really possible and what your experiences are.
