How is it possible?

Ok so af started on 26th may, cd 11 I got a positive opk and sure enough my temp rose and I got crosshairs. My temps stayed high up to 20dpo. Then they dropped and went all over the place and I gave up temping. Today on cd 40 I started af.

I was always told you have deffinately ovulated if your temp rises 3 or more temps than the previous 6 which it did. Also if your temps remain high for 18 plus days past ovulation you are pregnant.
So I had neg blood and urine tests and now af what gives?

maybe you are just one of those girls who gets the period even though pregnant or just dont have enough hcg to show the doctors are not always right , also a new themomtier

Thank you, I could do with a new thermometer will get one as soon as I can as its 2 years old now. my aunt didn't get a positive test for a few weeks but I don't think its the case for me as my period got heavier last night.
