what thats craziness my doctor told m there i no such thing as a false positive but there are false negatives

The tests used at dr's offices/clinics etc., aren't as sensitive as the at-home ones we all use. Try another test tomorrow, to make sure it isn't a chemical pregnancy, then go back to the clinic Thursday or Friday and be retested. Make sure u hold ur urine for a few hours and drink little to no fluids during hold time. It could be a combo of low sensitivity tests and dilute urine, one or both this early on, can render a false negative test.

Can you go and get a blood test done to confirm the pregnancy - that would probably be the best option at this point. GL

That is so crazy I hv had almost the same exact thing happen this week!4 faint hpts Epts, 2 clinic negs & all they said was to come back in 2-3 weeks or go to er if I have any severe pain and bleeding.Not exactly a reassuring answer, so I finally went and had blood drawn to hopefully get a clearer answer.As far as I'm concerned urine hcg tests aren't always black and white like some like to think, always trust your gut instinct.But I agree I would have a blood test done to know for sure.
