Progesterone Cream Question

Hello everyone! I'm on my first cycle using progesterone cream to help with short Luteal phases. I am curious if the cream will make you produce more cervical mucus than usual post ovulation. I've searched the Internet all over for an answer, but I haven't found anything. I'm not used to this kind of increased, thick CM during my luteal phase, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I know better than to look to cm as a sign of pregnancy. I'm just curious if it's the progesterone causing it. Thank you!

My guess would be the cream is causing the increased thickness in your CM. I haven't personally used it before but to me it would seem that if your applying cream down there then it would naturally feel a little thicker and goopier than normal. Maybe I'm out to lunch, but that's just my two cents lol.

Thanks for your two cents! It's the only reason I can think of, as well, since it's the only thing I changed up this cycle. Thanks again! :)

I have a 23-26 day cycle, and I O on CD 14 or 15, depending on the month. Last month when I was using the cream, I started spotting 6 DPO all the way to 10 DPO when I got my full blown AF. Please let me know if the cream makes you spot too. I'm thinking about taking a month off of it (currently CD 8) because I'm afraid the cream made me have my period sooner rather than later.
