Question

Looking for a cycle buddy.

Hi Ladies.
Today is cd13. We have been ttc for 10 months now. Finding is particularly hard lately as both my sister in laws have recently had babies & without even trying. Does anybody have any advice? I'm trying to stay positive & not stress but I do think at times there might be something wrong. I'm planning on trying for the next 2 months & then possibly seeing a Dr when we've been trying for a full year.
Just looking for someone to talk to really as we haven't openly told anyone were trying.

Hi, the best advice is to not stress... I know it is easier said than done. My husband and I started trying for our first baby just after we got married in 2013, 11 months went by and nothing, then when we decided to 'stop' trying I fell pregnant on the 12th month. We were so happy, but in October 2014 I lost the baby at 11 weeks (baby only measured 7 weeks) we were devastated, we said we would stop trying, but everywhere we looked there were babies!! We decided to start trying again and we are still waiting for our rainbow baby, it will be 2 years next month since we started trying! My sister told me she was pregnant 3 weeks ago (she wasn't trying, she missed a pill) and it broke our hearts. Now we are just trying not to think about it (altho hard) and hoping we get our bfp soon! Good luck, sending baby dust your way xxx

Hi, I can imagine how hard it is fo you. Just when we decided to start trying everyone I meet tells me they just got pregnant and none of them were actively trying or even planning a baby. It all seems so unfair sometimes! Anyway don't worry about these things. They are unfortunately a part of life. As people we sometimes compare ourselves to others and then get upset when others have achieved what we have set our hearts and mind to but really we shouldn't. Each persons life is different and I am sure we will get our bfp's soon enough. Just got to be patient and hang in there! Happy to be your buddy! I am on cd 11. And trying to conceive our first child.

Hello Mrs B,
I totally understand how you feel. I am 34 (soon to be 35) and my husband is 31. We started trying for your first baby 10 months ago. Since then his sister-in-law, who is 26, got pregnant in her 2nd cycle TTC and she got this little baby a few days ago. While she was in maternity with happy familly (my family in law who knows nothing about our ordeal) my husband and I were in the same clinic so we could check my folicules and everything which does not work with my body. :( I have PCOS and now with puregon shots and a trigger shot we finally got just 1 follicule (before 4 or more) and we had so much hope this month. I DID! But I'm 10 dpo, no symptom and BFN. I've been crying a lot, cannot control myself... I just feel heartbroken and as if my plans were at a halt. Also career decisions at a halt of course as hope to get pregnant. So, I understand how you feel. And by the way, since we've been trying it seems like the whole world around us is either pregnant or parent. x0

Thank you so much for replying ladies.
Rainbow baby I'm so sorry for your loss & hope you get a bfp soon :)
Anastasia thank you, happy to be your buddy even though we are a few days apart :)
Ttcfor1year, I feel exactly the same as you, I'm 28, my hubby is 33, we have been together for 13 years & finally decided to start a family last year, everyone around us seems to be getting pregnant apart from us. My hubby tells me to relax & it can take a long time but I feel so upset every month when af arrives. Keep tellin myself to be positive but still get down about it. It's so hard but I'm still hopefully eventually we will have a family of our own xx
