If you bd every other day during your fertile time and you indeed ovulate then you have a ~20% chance of conception every cycle. Bd after ovulation has happened never leads to pregnancy so no need to continue during the luteal phase. Best wishes.

Keep in mind that even if you get the timing and everything else right you only have a 20% chance every cycle. That's why it can easily take 6 months or longer for a BFP even if you and you partner have no fertility issues. Patience is key!

I've done a lot of research on this (research is my thing, and not 'google' style). Having intercourse everyday during the fertile week showed slightly increased pregnancy rates for couples except for those who had lower sperm counts. If lower sperm counts, every other day yields higher pregnancy result. If you've only been trying for a short time, I would track your LH surge with ovulation strips and/or temping. Then would BD everyday around that time.
