Question

Did anyone need progesterone to get pregnant the first time and not the second?

When ttc with my first, my doctor checked my progesterone levels several times over two cycles. She put me on progesterone suppositories, and bam - BFP that same month. We're ttc a second and she says I may not need them, that some women are more fertile after a successful pregnancy. Thoughts?

My Fertility Dr. told me the first time that the progesterone cannot hurt to use. I will start for baby #2 next month. Doctors also say your body "regulates" after the first pregnancy, mine has not, ovulation never returned and I go 3-4 months without a period. So back to the Fertility DR. for me.
