Question

Clomid and ovulation time?

So, I have PCOS and do not always ovulate. This is my first cycle taking Clomid. According to CB ovulation kit my "peak" ovulation time was around day 19-20. The dr insisted I still have progesterone level drawn at day 22. I felt like since I probably ovulated late that day 22 (2-3 dpo) would be too early to indicate ovulation. Dr. called today and said level was a 3 so borderline and could not tell yes or no to ovulation. I suggested that maybe it was too early. She said that people who take Clomid almost always ovulate earlier than day 19/20 and therefore she doesn't feel CB test is accurate. Any clomid takers every experienced late ovulation and still end up with bfp?

What days did u take it? I did 4-8 and O'd CD17, the day after my first CB peak and positive opk, and got a BFP. U definitely went too early for ur bw, ideally, aim for 7dpo, not a specific cycle day. I hate when dr's do that. And for her to say she couldnt say if a 3 was yes or no...when medicated, they like numbers at or above 15, 10 if unmedicated. She sounds lovely!!
Good luck! =))
