Question

Vitex and 14 day period

So after months of reading up on Vitex. I got some for this cycle. I had a light period for 14 days! The day after I didn't take one, I stopped. ???? Anyone have any issues with Vitex?

I know it is slow acting and should take months to show any improvement on my cycle. But I can't help but think, this isn't for me

I tried Vitex for a cycle or two and didn't have any changes. However, one cycle, I probably was trying 5-6 different vitamins and I had a 10 day period that month and thought never again! I did a lot of research before trying Vitex and the other herbs and I always read Vitex wasn't recommended for those with regular cycles but I tried it anyway. If it were me, I would probably give it another cycle or two before stopping but if you really think it messed your cycle up, I would just stop. I tried every herb under the sun to get pregnant and I think for many women, they really help and I think for those like me, they just didn't do much. I believe it's how you feel too...if you think they are helping, that's all that matters sometimes. If you think they aren't and you hate taking it, I wouldn't bother unless you knew for sure it would work.
