Ovulating after miscarriage?

Okay, so I started bleeding on the 23rd May and was admitted to A&E on the 25th May where they confirmed I'd had a miscarriage so am currently waiting for my first real period. It was 2 weeks to the day yesterday and just by chance as I'd found some ovulation strips in my draw I decided to try one and it was a positive, I also tried in the pm too and it was also a positive. I didn't think I could ovulate so soon after miscarriage. I had tested a few days before before when I was still bleeding and of course it was a big fat negative, I literally stopped bleeding on the Friday morning and on Sat, got a positive....does this sound a bit strange?? We did BD Sat (which was conveniently the 5th day of my fertile days) so I'm hoping I will fall regardless of having a period before as we feel fine to keep ttc again. Just wondered what the general thoughts of you ladies were on he his? Is it just a blip b'cos of the miscarriage or could I actually be ovulating?xxxxx

I m/c on the 24th and got a positive opk last night so it is possible to have it so soon after, I was very surprised aswell to find I had ovulated this month but am guessing my body saw the bleeding as a "period" and reset its self for a normal cycle this month, good luck and fingers crossed for a BFP =)

I had a D&C on 1/20/15 and got my period exactly 4 weeks after that but I believe I ovulated in between at about 2 weeks after the D&C (not positive as don't temp or do opks but had loads of cm). I've heard many stories on here of ladies falling pregnant right after a miscarriage as I've heard you a more fertile after a miscarriage. I just waited to TTC again until after 2 periods per my Doctors recommendation but I know all Doctors have their own opinions and some say you can try again right after if you are mentally ready.
