Temperature spike

This is my first month temping and I'm slightly confused. I'm on cycle day 41 thanks to a bit of stress, but up until now my temps have ranged from 96.8 to 97.1 and judging from my cm ovulation would have occurred on May 29th. The temps back that up, but only rise that .30 before dipping on 6dpo and jumping to 97.40. I guess the question is whether or not this is a big enough temperature change for ovulation to have occurred may 29th with the small increase. I'm so confused.
