Question

Just started metformin to make me ovulate, but will it give me normal cycles?

I don't know what days I should pay close attention to. My cycles have always been hectic. I found out last month, I'm not ovulating right. If metformin doesn't work, my dr will put me on comid but I don't want to get that far. Will metformin make me ovulate in a normal timeframe? My last cycle was 55 days and didn't have af for a few months before that. I was once a 35-38 day kind of person.

Everyone is different but my first two months on Metformin I ovulated at a semi normal time. (CD 18, CD19) Then the second two months were annovulatory. I'm on clomid now and I'm ovulating! Good luck to you!
