Question

Rising HcG but lowering Progesterone?!

First beta was taken at 14dpo (faint bfp at 10dpo) was 219 and Progesterone was 16. Second beta taken at 16dpo and HcG more than doubled to 520 but my progesterone dropped to 11?? Ive read mixed messages about lowering P4 with rising HcG but I can't help but worry so badly! This is our first pregnancy. I have never been on meds before but my Dr. started me on 200mg of Progesterone daily 1x before bed. I have another draw Monday (today is Friday) and I just need some peace of mind...AND HONESTY! Please, can anyone help me with this?

It's good for you to be supplementing with progesterone at this point. I would solely focus on the doubling of the HCG numbers right now. Lower progesterone does not mean the pregnancy is failing , however, declining or barely increasing HCG would be a sign that the pregnancy is not doing well. Best wishes and I hope everything will go well for you.
