8 days late but bfn clomid cycle dr wants to start provera

I am now 8 days late and I did clomid on this cycle days 3-7 i also got a digital ovulation test. I am still getting negative pregnancy test and my dr wants me to start provera right away without doing a blood test is it u likely I'm pregnant and I should just start the meds or should I wait? Thoughts please...

If there is any possibility you could be pregnant ALWAYS get a blood test first before taking any medication. Just tell your DR you want a blood test to rule pregnancy out before taking provera. They usually wont object.
