Has fertility friend been wrong?
I'll just dive right in. I'm on my first round of clomid.
I had a positive opk yesterday and the day before. But according to my chart and temp rise, fertility friend says I ovulated the day before my positive opk. I didn't take an opk that day because I didn't get home until very late at night and I thought it was too late to take one. Plus I had an ultrasound the day before it says I ovulated and they told me I had a dominant follicle on each ovary, one was 21mm and the other was 20mm. She said they would need to be bigger before I ovulate, so I don't think I could have ovulated the day after that.

So should I keep doing the deed, or start my two week wait?
Also my ovaries have been so sore during sex, it's making me not want to do it! So unfair!

hey im also in same boat check out my questions too but i think i ovulated after 2 days of mu follicles scan... on cd 14 and i had my scan on cd 12 it was 20 mm folicile on my left ovary whicj was ready to burst.... but i got stronger one+ ve opk today cd 14 SO i think u ll ovulate in next 24 to 48 hours

I agree with ur chart. As u said, u didnt test that day so theres no way to say for sure that it wouldnt have been positive. Also, being a urine test, a lot of factors can change the results of the test. U can definitely O without ever having a positive opk, the surge is in ur blood first, so it doesnt need to hit urine for u to ovulate. U can O without a positive and u can fail to O with a positive...ur chart looks good so far!

As long as your temps are accurate (taken at same time, before getting up, in the same conditions, etc.), I'd go with what the temps say. Just as dakota said, lh can take awhile to be processed by the kidneys to make it to ur urine. It surges in blood first so u could o before ur first positive. (Or without one at all.) U very well could have had a positive that day too if u didn't test. I'd say ur in the tww. Good luck!

U couldve released both eggs, yes, but its just one ovulation, and they would relwase within 24hrs of each other. As for ur positive opk's, the length the the testable surge has no bearing on when or if u O. That is based on kidney function, test sensitivity and fluid intake. U can have numerous surges within a cycle, esp middle and end of ur luteal phase. I would stick with temps.
