My unual cycle has me concerned.

I am not trying to become pregnant. However, I have been feeling very sick lately:nausea, headaches and mild pressure in my tummy. I took a pregnancy test on yesterday and it was negative. What I am confused about is my cycle this month was spotting for two days, then completely stopping the third day. On the fourth and fifth day now was slightly heavier bleeding but not normal heavy cycle bleeding. I have an appointment Monday. Could something else be wrong?
