Preparing for Upcoming IUI Consultation
After over a year of actively trying (and failing) to get pregnant, one miscarriage, one surgery, and lots of heartache, hubby and I just scheduled a consultation to prepare for our first IUI cycle next month.
My doctor has already recommended starting with injectables since they are covered by my insurance and are more likely to help me get pregnant.
Looking to hear from others who have experience with IUI and/or injectables.
What questions should I ask at my consultation? What were your experiences with IUI? What drugs did you use? How many tries did it take before you got pregnant? Anyone get pregnant with multiples? Anything else I should be thinking about?
Just trying to prepare myself as much as possible for the next few weeks/months and I don't know anyone in real life I can talk to about this stuff.
