Possible but implantation spotting usually occurs just before or at the time of missed period. However if you ovulated late then AF would have really been due later and so it could have been IB. Since it has been a few days since the bleeding if it was IB there would be enough HCG in your system so I would test. If you get a BFN it is unikely you are currently pregnant

hello there Im going through exactly the same as you I was due for AF on the 23rd I am 4 days late and spotted on 24th then it went then its back 2days later I know I am not pregnant and still waiting for my Blood test results to come back normal I did a pregnancy test all through the days I am late and all BFN I am light brown spotting at the moment and I know how frustrating this must feel for both of us so your not alone have you done a HPT? my guess would be it could be stress related for both of us or you may have different circumstances in your situation I don't know weither your thinking the same as me weither to class this as cycle day 1 again or spotting if for any reason you carry on spotting I would see your GP to check this out cuz I am going through it now twice this has happened to me last month and this month again I went to my Gp about this and waiting for my blood tests best thing you can do is do the same if your getting a BFN your not alone on this one hunni :) xx

At the moment my periods are terrible even tho I am brown spotting Im not bleeding properly yet again all friggin day Iv had a pad on waiting for it to get stronger and darker but nope its still spotting I had this for 10days last month and it was driving me bonkers because HPT,s was all coming up as BFN I thought it was implantation bleeding last month and was thinking the same as you,, If your getting symptoms or suspect your preggies I would keep a close eye on your spotting and keep doing regular HPT,s that's what I did but same thing this month is happening to me again and I think its all stress related, but If you get BFN,s and you just know something isn't right with your body just trust your own instinct and get this checked out with the GP because they will be able to offer you some tests and check to see if they can find the cause for it GL I really hope you get down to the bottom of your problem same as me :) im sure things will be ok for both of us think positive :) xx

I hope you get a BFP soon hunni Its not happening for me and my partner and I am having either perimenopause symptoms or stress related issues this is why my AF isn't good at the moment iv stopped spotting again and don't know whats going off, but if you think its implantation bleeding which I am hoping it is for you both it probs maybe as well to Keep testing until you get your BFP years ago when I had implantation bleeding with my first It drove me crazy because I had faint lines on a cheapy HPT test and my DH wasn't convinced because he thought it was AF but I knew something wasn't right and I get testing until I got a BFP in the end so hope that's the case for you I shall keep my fingers crossed for you and hope you get that soon to come GL hun :)
