that's a very hard question as your cervix position changes throughout the day and every women is different but you could look for signs like softer cervix, more cm then usual, the inside tissues feeling more swollen, normally if AF is on its way your cervix will be very low open and very firm to touch and you will also notice a metal/iron smell to your cm. hope this helps GL

I'm 8w3d pregnant now and my cervix has been very low the entire time. A lot of people assume a low cervix means your period is on its way, but every woman is different! For that reason, it makes it really hard to determine pregnancy based on the cervix. Also, I didn't notice an increase in discharge until I was 6 weeks pregnant. If you don't have all the tell tale signs of a pregnant cervix, don't worry! It doesn't necessarily mean anything. Good luck!!

I agree with Karli, every preg and woman is different. My cervix was very high when pregnant w/ DD and DS, pretty much impossible to reach. That being said, its always high, even before and during AF. I can count on one hand the number of times it has lowered, most recently was for my CP last cycle. It dropped so low it was just past first knuckle and wiiiiide open. Never been like that before tho. Dont trust cevical positioning, it doesnt come into play til well into ur pregnancy...even then it varies per person.
Good luck! =))
