I had one done in January of this year to remove a polyp. I was not able to take any fertility meds because my cycles were normal and my doctor was just really against it. I got pregnant less than two months later. The crazy thing is none of my doctors from my RE to OB/GYN really think it did anything! WHY HAVE IT DONE THEN????? I have to think it helped because I was trying for 3.5 years and besides keeping my thyroid and prolactin in check with medication, I didn't have any other procedures.

I should note the doctor didn't think I needed the meds due to my cycles. He was ready to put me on Clomid if my cycle was more irregular and there was proof that I didn't ovulate.

I had the same procedure in February and haven't gotten pregnant yet. No other known issues on my end. My husband's sperm count, motility, and morphology are just below the low end of "normal" but my doctors don't think his numbers should totally prevent us from conceiving on our own. Going for an IUI consult the week after next. Hopefully you will get pregnant soon. I've read a lot of studies about women getting pregnant within the first few months of trying after polyp removal. I also read that other people's doctors have told them that if they don't get pregnant within 2-3 months, there could be other factors at play. (I don't know how much truth there is to this.)
