Have two LH surges in one month ? Anyone?
Hi everyone, I have been charting for the last several months, because my periods have been off. Last month it appeared I didn't ovulate at all, and I got my period on cycle day 24 which normally I get on the 28. I spotted the day before my period and then had a full blow period heavy for two days and then nothing, which was on April 30, on that Saturday cycle day 3 May 2nd my husband did the deed and I wasn't bleeding anymore, very light spotting. on cycle day 6 I decided to test to see if I'm going to ovulate, I got a full blow positive and a temp spike. We didn't do the deed again the 16th of this month, before that though on cycle day 15 which would be may 14th, I got another lh surge positive result and temp spike, when we did the deed on the 16th, there was no seed planted, if you will. Now all this week, I have been either constipated, nauseated, my boobs are twice the size, and super sore (like when you take off your bra and you are like man those girls are sore) type of thing

So I had the same thing happen to me for the last 5 months that I have been using ovulation kits. I would get full positives (test line way darker than control line) from cd 7 to cd 20! It was driving me insane! So finally last month I started temping and seeing a fertility specialist. I did monitoring to see my ov day. Sure enough got positive ok on cd 7, yet my blood work showed NO surge until cd14!!! My ovulation was confirmed by the doctor AND by temping on cd 15. So I will never use ovulation tests ever again. They just don't work for some people.
The best thing u can do is temp for a couple cycles. Learn through temping when u ovulate, and have sex accordingly as u figure out ur ovulation pattern :-)

Gosh!!!! I thought my periods were bad lol Iv not long been using OPK,s but have you thought about doing a HPT? some ladies do use OPK,S as HPT,s and can get positive results but I wouldn't like to say if there 100% accurate to use as a HPT just a surgestion if your getting 2 positive LH surges in one month have you thought about doing an HPT or my surgestion would be to get yourself checked out at the doctors by a blood test to see if they could pin point whats going off with your cycles and hormones due to your AF being tricky.
