When should I be testing Positive if I think I have had implantation bleeding? Can you test - at 5wk
Ok so I had a one day period April 14th (im normally regular and 4 days). I started Prozac on May 1 st so not sure if this is why I dont have my period yet. I am also very stressed out with two jobs and a bit overweight. I am having pregnancy symptoms. Almost everyday I have what I think are cramps but no AF. I should have had AF a week ago. Took two Rapid First Response one had a dark line after 30 min. Other one neg. Is it possible to test neg if I think I am almost 5 wks? With my daughter I felt the same way and had diff results did not confirm prego until blood test. Are the Rapid Results bad tests? I thought AF would show herself after testing and spending money but nothing. I am going to get blood work Sat am but I am anxiously awaiting and hate to wait for the dr to call. your help is appreciated.

Hi, you could try testing with a clear blue digital test, I have found it accurate and better than frer. At 5 weeks you should be getting a proper positive but I have read on these message boards of some ladies who didn't get a positive till much later but that is rare and not the norm. Since you don't have a period yet it is good that you are getting a blood test done. Good luck!

ya I think I will get a clear blue digital. I completely feel preggo, like something is different about me. The same feeling I had with my daughter. Thats the only reason I think I am. However, conception would have been April 5th and then implantation bleeding April 14th, it was super light and no feminine products used. I bet I will get AF sunday lol. Murphy's law says so plus the blood work is 50 bucks at my dr so of course it will be after I pay that amount. Heres to hoping.

A result after 30 mins is a negative. So you're basically saying you have had two negative tests. I wouldn't be bothering with a blood test unless you actually have positive tests (which technically you haven't). Wait another week and then maybe go to the GP. Your weight and the SSRI could both be impacting (I really wouldn't take SSRIs whilst TTC though!!!)

I have heard so many different things about HPT lately. I know with my daughter I had a few negative tests and a positive in the same day. My situation is a little different, I am not TTC but if I am preggo I would welcome with open arms. I just know I am NEVER late and I feel preggo, but I could be trying to convince myself. The main reason why I am doing blood work is because my dr is testing me for other things already so I asked to add that to the lab order. Anyhow youre prob right because I have been really stressed and with new medication my body is prob all messed up.
