Progesterone/Clomid Advice?
My Dr. just put me on Progesterone/Clomid and I was wondering if anyone had any advice? I have PCOS and have been regulating it through birth control for over 10 years. 5months ago my husband and I decided to go off of BC and start TTCing. Just like before BC I still have an irregular period. I haven't actually had a period since going off BC. So yesterday I started progesterone for 10 days to hopefully get a period. Then I will start clomid on cycle day #3 thru #7, with an ultra sound around day 10 to see if it worked.
Just wondering about success stories, complications, side effects, and any advice/encouragement/comments about this process/medications anyone might have?

I took Provera back in Feb/March to bring on my menstrual cycle and AF showed 3 or 4 days after my last pill. I read that alot over other woman had bad cramping but thank goodness I was not one of them. I am like you was very irregular cycles even as a teenager but I was BC for well over 10 yrs and I am also 40 yrs old. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way.
