light bleeding in 5 weeks. is it normal?

I am 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I got my two home pregnancy tests and they came out positive. Just 3 days back when at loo I found a dark brownish red spot on my panty. I got spoofed up. I took a pad then. Since 3 days I am having very light bleeding. Its not even covering a end of the pad and its occasional and not all the times. The colour is not deep red. It's sometimes light pink and sometimes fresh. I am very worried. The first day when I saw spotting and checked inside with a tissue small dark maroon clots came. I spoke to my doctor abt it. She said that it is normal with some of the women to spot in first trimester. She has prescribed me Gyne CVP capsule and Susten 300mg. Plus she has given me a injection Ovutrig HP 5000 IU and has told that she ould be giving it to me for 3 times a=in 4 days interval. I am very very tensed. My first ultrasound is due on 16th May. Has anyone else experienced it too?Its my first pregnancy and I am worried abt my baby. Plz reply on this
